I couldn’t put this book down and it was exactly what I needed at this time. Since reading it I’ve been more consistent and present for my journaling practice and am actively looking for signs from the Universe. I’m trying to be more and more present with my family and enjoying all of the little moments even when things feel hectic and busy. Thank you Deepika for this gem!

Hello Universe It’s Me is a well-written, deeply emotional book. The emotions and experiences leap off the pages into your heart. One thing I love about the book is that it speaks to the reader, even if your experience is different. Deepika takes you on her spiritual journey and invites you to go on your own. I highly recommend this book!

No fluff, no frameworks, and no eye-rolling methodologies. This is a read you can’t put down because it’s like a letter to you from your dearest, closest friend. The writing is full of personality, heartache, joy, laughter, resiliency, and connection. I loved all of it and look forward to more from Deepika Sandhu!

5.0 out of 5 stars Honest and uplifting book!

This book really was an upflifting read in the end! It is an honest account, which brought out a lot of emotions. Even if one is not on a crossroad in ones life, one can totally relate to what the author, Deepika Sandhu, is writing. It is inspirational how she found a way out of a toxic relationship, where – as it appears – a
man’s self-esteem suffered when his female partner is professionally successful. Ultimately, change starts within you. But as her account shows, knowing that and doing something about it can still be miles apart, particularily when there is a child involved. But to be happy you need to stay true to yourself, mixed with a bit of courage and support, it will just be another life experience we can learn and mature from. The author deserves my utmost respect!

“Have you ever experienced deep peace? Have you ever unwound the brain and all that thinking noise so much that you could hear your soul speak?.”

Hello Universe, It’s Me is an invitation to self-discovery, spiritual awareness, and transformation.

I love how Deepika uncovers deeper truth we all can learn from through her vulnerability and openheartedness. She clearly shows us how the Universe is co-creating our lives and that all we need to do is to listen and trust.

This is a must-read book for anyone who is ready to find inner peace, joy, and ultimately, freedom.

It was a wonderful experience to have had a conversation with Deepika Sandhu during a podcast interview! Her loving presence, wisdom, and clarity reflected her commitment to changing lives!

I absolutely enjoyed this book! The format that Deepika Sandhu chose to write “Hello Universe…” was very engaging for me. Each chapter was split into 3 parts: A letter to the Universe with Deepika’s personal understandings, then a perfect example of living through the experience, ending with a letter to the reading giving simple and understandable steps that can lead to PROFOUND CHANGES for the reader. It was very interesting with real life situations that one can easily relate to.

I highly recommend this book as an addition to people who are already on their way to changing their lives for the better, or for the person just starting their journey into finding out who they really are and embracing their absolute Divine Self!

Hello Universe is not your run of the mill self help book. It’s written by a real person and her real life events. Refreshing to read. A heart-felt and relatable journey on how to navigate life and it’s traumas in today’s world. A must read for those dealing with trauma and stress or how to prepare in case those days come.
I found the Try This exercises helpful, calming and invigorating depending on the lesson.
One could definitely feel the vulnerability ,braveness and grace throughout the book.
A fast and Must read!

Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life. Maybe you’re stuck in a dead end job. Or maybe you’ve reached a point in your life where you think, “What have I done with my life?”. Perhaps you’ve gotten yourself into financial troubles and don’t know where to turn. Or maybe, as was the case with this author, you are in a troubled marriage. Whatever the case may be, we all have been or will get there at some point. And this book is the perfect thing to help you get through it. First of all, Deepika shows a tremendous amount of courage to not only write this book and share with the world her experiences, but to be able to come to the conclusion on her own that she needs a breakdown but is strong and wise enough to schedule it in advance is remarkable to me. What she calls a breakdown I call a breakthrough and she allowed herself to be guided by her Universe. What you consider your Universe or spirituality is totally up to you, but this books shows you in an unique way how to allow the Universe to work for you. Often times, we know what we have to do, but don’t have the ability or the strength to do what we know is right in front of us. They say “things happen for a reason” and this book shows you how that comes to fruition. Each chapter is cleverly written, with an opening letter to the Universe, followed by Deepika’s first-hand experience, ending with a letter to you, the reader, telling you it’s ok, asking you to dig deep inside of yourself, encouraging, if not advocating for you to take a chance on yourself. Deepika’s journey with her Universe is a compelling one in and of itself, but the way she laid it out makes it that much more interesting to read. I couldn’t put the book down. If you’re looking for something more out of life, if you feel as though something is missing and you just don’t know how to go about finding it, I highly encourage you to read this book. Your Universe is telling you to and I think you should listen.

I recently finished Hello Universe It’s Me by Deepika Sandhu and I really enjoyed it! Hello Universe It’s Me is a self-help book that focuses on the life of the author Deepika Sandhu and how she scheduled a breakdown to help organize and fix her life and offers tips on how we can help reorganize our own lives. I loved how open Sandhu was about her personal journey and how she described in detail the many struggles she had. I also recently met Sandhu over Zoom to talk about her writing experience which made reading her novel even more special. Some of my favorite parts of the novel were the “Hello friend” and “Try this” sections because they went into detail about some small changes we can do to start changing our lives for the better. As always, when I read self-help books, I like to list some key takeaways or tips that I would like to implement in my life. Here is my list for Hello Universe It’s Me!
📘Take a moment to write down your feelings on the days that you feel aligned, how you feel, and what you can do to cultivate these feelings for you daily.
📘Everyday write down ten “I am” statements and read them out loud every morning, this will help you acknowledge the strength that you have in your life.
📘Write down the positive feelings you want in your life and what triggers them, try to find a way to incorporate more of these moments into your weekly schedule.
📘Acknowledge you inner voice saying you can not do something, but do not let that control you. Move forward with what you are doing and do not feed those negative thoughts.
These were just some of the many takeaways I gained from this book and overall I really enjoyed it and would recommend reading it if you like self-help books and want to manifest a better life!

I’ve been pulled for the last year or two to find “something more” in life. Over the years friends have suggested meditation, journaling and yoga, or spoken about crystals, healers and sage, etc. But it didn’t resonate, it didn’t make sense, it wasn’t time. Hello Universe It’s Me was the clarity I needed! All the puzzle pieces started to come together as I was reading this book, every little pull now had meaning. Now I’m ready to make space for me, to listen in silence, journal my thoughts, learn meditation, be more present and appreciative, and purposefully live my life as my authentic awesome self!

I couldn’t put this book down! This book sucked me in from the Introduction and didn’t let me go until finishing the incredibly grateful acknowledgements. I don’t think acknowledgements have ever made me cry with joy for the reader. I finished it at 3am one morning with big crocodile tears. I was ready to crawl in my closet to journal, hit the “redo” button and move forward in my life in so many ways. She gave me the courage and the inspiration to find happiness, joy, and gratitude in my life.

This book is so elegantly yet vividly written. I felt as though I was living her life through this book, every feeling, every fear, every awakened moment… it all felt so clear and so personal. Personal to her story but also personal to me. She was writing to me, wasn’t she?!

Thank you Deepika for being so raw and honest, and for the courage to share your story and journey with me (and the world). And thank you for giving me the courage, strength, and tools to move my story forward. To find more happiness and joy in my life. To listen to my inner knowing. And be AMAZINGLY ME!

The book was given to me by a very good friend . Believe me when I started reading I couldn’t put the book down. It’s like my life was unfolding and it resonated to my life that I lived for the past 40 yrs. The best part of the book I found was when the Author says “ I needed to create a relationship with myself and I needed to trust my intuition to see ( really see) the signs and messages that life was providing to me in plain sight . It’s such a powerful statement
I admire the Author for being so honest and candid with her feelings. I love the simplicity the way it’s written yet so powerful that it touched the core of my heart . Maybe there may be books for younger children in the near future .
